Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled IT Network Professional to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability while supporting the organization’s technology needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Implementation
- Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks.
- Install and configure network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Implement network segmentation and VLAN configurations.
- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
- Develop network architecture documentation and diagrams.
Network Administration & Maintenance
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and patch management.
- Configure and manage network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
- Maintain network equipment inventory and asset management.
- Ensure high availability and redundancy of critical network systems.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
- Monitor network traffic for security threats and anomalies.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage VPN access and remote connectivity solutions.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for network-related issues.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Performance Optimization
- Analyze network performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Optimize bandwidth utilization and network efficiency.
- Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies.
- Conduct capacity planning for future network requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network administration and engineering.
- Proven experience with enterprise network environments.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols).
- Proficiency with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE, or similar.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark).
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and software-defined networking concepts.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Certifications (Required or Preferred)
- Required: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent.
- Preferred: CCNP, CompTIA Network+, JNCIA, or other advanced networking certifications.
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) are a plus.

- Experience in multi-site or distributed network environments.
- Understanding of wireless networking standards (802.11ac/ax).
Technical Environment
- Network equipment: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto.
- Monitoring tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios.
- Ticketing systems: ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
